If you want to have steak in the Ann Arbor area - Knight's is a great place to go. They get their meat from their own market, not far from the restaurant itself. They are also known to pour a mean drink - you definitely get what you pay for! It's a "sleeper", definitely a place that locals know about and others don't - due to the fact that its tucked away, and not located in downtown Ann Arbor. Vegetarians beware - not much fare for you here. Meat-a-tarians - rejoice!
Matt and Rene have done an amazing job, taking an old space and creating a community hub focused around great beer, a smoke-free cozy environment, and an outdoor beer garden. Weekly "Rat Pad" 10-gallon small batches appeal to those wanting to try something different - and also allows their brewers [and local homebrewers!] to give it a whirl and try to create something new and different. If you've never been here yet - make it a point to so so, and soon!

Ordered the Mother's Day "Buffet" where within 45 minutes, [2] of the [4] items were out, and the prime rib looked like it was unwrapped and then merely placed under the heat lamp in the dining room. Salad bar totally picked over, and soup was missing for 20 minutes - after I asked them to refill it.
Asked waitress to take my meal off of the ticket, and asked to be charged for the soup and salad I did eat, and was over-charged by her. (Luckily, the "manager" took it off, after I reported my dissatisfaction.)
Will definitely not be going back. Might be good for everyday, standard American restaurant dining, but not sure. I hate to give bad reviews for family-owned businesses, but this was pretty bad, as a whole, on this day. Perhaps they bit off more than they could chew?
